So, Trump is doing America First. Good for him.
The truth is, any leader of a nation that doesn’t put the interests of that nation first is an idiot and also not likely to be reelected.
However, there are two versions of “[INSERT NATION HERE] First”:
- Moron version: Me, myself and I know what is best for me, myself and I (and of course we, ourselves and we) because all we have to do is to look at our own feet, and we’ll get all the answers we need from the shit under our shoes.
- Sane version: We live in a global world, so to make the best situation for the citizens, the companies and everyone and everything else in our country we also need to look outside our borders to make a global world that will be beneficial to us, globally!
Think of it like this.
The world is a swimming pool. It doesn’t matter where in this swimming pool some asshole shits.
This works for both security policy, XXX First policy and global warming.
There will be sewage in our future…
